How does a sprinkler fire suppression system work?
The sprinkler system activates automatically when the ambient temperature reaches a certain level (usually 68°C).
When this temperature is reached, the sprinkler head activates, and the water, which is under pressure in the system, is sprayed in a controlled manner only to the area where the fire is located.
When the sprinkler heads are deployed, they distribute water evenly over a wide area, limiting the spread of the fire, lowering the ambient temperature, and helping to suppress the resulting smoke.
Thanks to this rapid and targeted response, the fire is brought under control before it spreads, preventing serious damage.
